Ludub Ochirov is a young musician and composer from the Republic of Buryatia, Russia. He is in his fourth year at the College of Arts in his hometown of Ulan-Ude. Learning to play the piano and morin khuur, he relies entirely on his hearing, as he has been blind since birth. Music has become his way of expressing himself and making contact with the outside world. Today he is a well-known musician, member of a music ethnic group Akhuu, winner of Russian and international music contests.
By his example, he wants to support and inspire other people with disabilities to engage in creative work and to believe in themselves. Having gone through difficulties at the beginning of his artistic journey, Ludub decided to help young musicians by giving them an opportunity to record music free of charge in his home studio.
